|There are some very talented
astrophotographers out there. This list is by no
means complete, but the following individuals have
captured some awe-inspiring works of art (if you are
not on the list, my apologies - please send your
link or a link to anyone who should be recognized):
David Malin, Astronomer at the Anglo-Australian
Observatory, also has images available online.
Have you ever wondered what images from those big
telescopes look like? The
CHFT (Canada-Hawaii-France Telescope) has an
image gallery for public viewing.
Additionally, you may find the Advanced
Observing Program of interest. The Advanced
Observing Program is a part of a public outreach
program from Kitt Peak Observatory.
One of the finest books on how to take
digital images of the night sky is Ron Wodaski's
book The New CCD Astronomy. Information on
his book can be found here:
Anglo-Australian Observatory also has their
images available online.
Australia Telescope National Facility has an
image page available.
Radio images from the
Australia Telescope National Facility - Narrabri
- are also available online.
For those still interested in film, here are a
Astrophotography Beginner's Guide by Lisa Row.
