Exoplanets - Additional Resources

Exoplanet research is relatively new in Astronomy. As such, books on the subject are limited. Of the books I have read, two come to mind:
  • Stephen F. Tonkin's Practical Amateur Spectroscopy introduces spectroscopy in Astronomy and included a section of a spectrometer design used in exoplanet detection
  • Michel Mayer and Pierre-Yves Frei's book New Worlds in the Cosmos discusses their first exoplanet discovery and introduces the concepts of exoplanet detection
